Hotel Il Casone, Casone di profecchia - A lovely place for dinner after a long hike up Mt. Prata. We visited during mushroom season and the fresh porcini were wonderful. We enjoyed the fried veggies and the beef steak fiorintina. Hard to find but worth the trip. - Minnesota Jim
Il Garfagnino, Borgo a Mozzano - A lovely local restaurant. The food is real garfagnana fare. I enjoyed the wild boar over polenta as a main course. There is nothing fancy about this place. Always great food and a great value. - Minnesota Jim
